Drumright’s OilPatch Festival ‘Sounds Like a Party’

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. - The annual Summer OilPatch Festival, held at the Sellers Ranch in Drumright, will once again be “Oklahoma Party Central” this Independence Day.
With all-day music, great food, magicians, stilt-walkers, helicopter landings, skydivers, a children’s area, and the biggest fireworks display in the region, there is something for people of all ages. And it’s all FREE! Yes, that is correct; FREE. That “Sounds Like a Party” to us!
Continuing the tradition of presenting musical stars from past and present – and showcasing the best up-and-comers, festival organizer Rick Sellers tells The Current that this year’s event will be their biggest yet. Country star Kix Brooks, formerly of the world famous duo Brooks and Dunn, will headline a musical lineup that includes special guest star Shawna Russell, country band LiveWire, the Flat River Band and the Red Dirt Rangers. “The festival has grown by leaps and bounds,” says Sellers. “Last year, we had around 10,000 people, and we are expecting even more this year.” Sponsored by Keystone Gas Corporation, Pacer Energy Marketing and Budweiser, the Summer OilPatch Festival provides a “one-of-a-kind” family experience that draws attendees from around the region.
